Hi! I specialize in behavioral health and am one of the Certified Lactation Counselors (CLC) on-site at Mountain View Pediatrics.  I am a NYS certified Special Education Teacher and have worked with children and their families since 1998.  I am also a NYS endorsed Infant Mental Health Specialist and a doctoral candidate through Johns Hopkins University where I am specializing in Education and Neuroscience. 

 I will typically meet with you and your child within the first couple of visits to our office. I am able to provide you with developmental guidance and what to expect for upcoming milestones. We will provide you with screenings via the Patient Portal that address your child’s development and my focus is on your child’s social-emotional development.

 You will also see the Ages and Stages Questionnaire or ASQ based at each WCV, along with the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale, the Social Determinants of Health, and the Adverse/Benevolent Childhood Experience ACE/BCE’s screenings. These screenings allow me to provide you with resources that you deem helpful.

 I am able to help you identify and connect with any of our local resources, including but not limited to, childcare, applying for services through our county and referring you or your child for services to outside agencies.

 As the behavioral specialist, I typically work with children ages 0-5, but I am also able to provide developmental and behavioral consults for older children.

 I am a certified DIR/Flootime practitioner and a NYS dual certified (birth - grade 12) Special Education teacher which has provided me with over 25 years of experience in working with young children and their families. I specialize in behavior, learning, and the brain. I am available for a phone consult, tele-visit or an in person appointment. I am also able to provide off-site observations as needed for your child.
